Our RED wine, namely ‘Tou Pappou’’ is of the variety of grapes called Mavro which is a pure Cypriot grape variety which mostly exists around the area that our vineyards are in Madari.
Our name for this wine is translated as “the one that belongs to the grandfather” as an honor to our grandfather that used to take care of the vineyards for so many years and taught us all he knew and showed us his love for wine.
Mavro is a local variety that results in a red dry wine with a full body with flower aromas. Its acidity and minerality are distinctive in its long finish.
Our WHITE wine, namely ‘Tis Giagias’ is of the variety of Xynisteri, another pure Cypriot variety.
Our name for the white wine is translated as “the one that belongs to the grandmother” as an honor to our grandmother that no matter the difficulties she kept caring for the vineyards alongside our grandad for many years.
Our Xynisteri is a fruity white semi-dry wine with a floral character. It is refreshing, with a pleasant taste and a long fruity finish.
